ORDER INFORMATION: We make every possible effort to prepare your order correctly the first time, however, we need specific instructions to achieve that. Please be sure to note the following information on all orders:
- Number of copies being ordered for each original
- ASA/ISO change requirements
- Finished sizes and border requirements
- Cropping instructions (cropping will be left to the judgment of the technician unless requested otherwise at time of order.)
- Please indicate any specific instructions by drawing on a proof print.
- Be certain that the crop marks are in proportion to the enlargement size.
RUSH SERVICE: Normal service times are listed for each service in this catalog. For orders involving several steps, the normal service time is the sum of the service times for each step. Same-day service means 'In by 10 AM' and 'Out by 5:00 PM'. For rush services, please contact our Customer Service Department as soon as possible with details of your requirements.
SHIPPING: Completed orders can be shipped by U.S. Mail or UPS. There is a $5.00 minimum handling charge, plus the delivery fees imposed by the carrier.
TERMS: All orders are C.O.D. except for previously established charge accounts. Delinquent accounts will be charged 1.5% interest per month (18% per year) and could be subject to suspension of credit.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY: A great deal of care and attention is given to the customer's product at United Colors & Images (UCI), however, it is possible that damages and losses may occur. Submitting any film, print, slide or negative to this firm for processing, printing or other handling constitutes an AGREEMENT by you that any damage or loss by our company, subsidiary, or agents, even though due to the negligence or other fault of our company, subsidiary, or agents, will only entitle you to replacement with a like amount of unexposed film and processing, unless you have declared a higher value and have paid the premium for that value in advance. Except for such replacement, or payment of the declared value if applicable, the acceptance by our company, subsidiary and/or agents of the film, print, slide or negative is without other warranty or liability, and recovery for any incidental or consequential damages is excluded.
COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL: Any material such as photographs, artwork, slides, transparencies, documents or any original work with Copyright mark or 'Do Not Copy' on it, will not be reproduced without written consent from the Copyright owner.
REMAKES: A remake must be returned to UCI within seven days of the original completion date for consideration. Should a remake be necessary, please follow the procedure outlined below:
- Return the original in the same condition without any alterations.
- Return the original order form and glassine with all settings & instructions.
- Submit all work done on the order with the invoice copy. Include detailed instructions with corrections and changes.
