DIGITAL IMAGING SERVICES
SCANNING
Your original film can be scanned, manipulated and retouched, to create your ideal final image. Color or black-and-white negatives and transparencies are scanned using our state-of-the-art Kodak HR 500 Plus Digital Film Scanner with Digital ICE Technology. The Kodak Professional HR 500 Plus utilizes Kodak Image Science to produce superb high-resolution digital files of up to 128 MB. Featuring Kodak’s KLI-6013 Sensor 6002 element tri-linear color array with 3 x 6002 pixels, the HR 500 Plus Film Scanner delivers outstanding color accuracy, contrast and shadow/highlight detail. The new digital file can then be printed on our Kodak Professional RP 30 Digital Laser Printer, using the same photographic paper as optical printers, with results virtually equal to that of traditional optical printing. For optimal quality (commercial and fine art), please choose Drum Scanning. Scans can be saved as JPEG or TIFF files.

PROOFING Color and B/W
Proofs are made from Digital Camera Files (JPEG & TIFF) as well as Color and B/W Films. Color and B/W Positive and Negative Films are scanned with our state-of-the-art Kodak HR500 Plus Digital Film Scanner with Digital ICE Technology, and analyzed for color and density balance by Kodak DP2 Software. Your studio name with copyright, order number, roll number and sequence number are imprinted on the back of each print. All frames with reasonable exposure will be printed. For white borders, sloppy borders, and key line please add $0.05 per print.

All formats of transparencies and slides are made from your 35mm, medium format, 4x5 and 8x10 originals. For color accuracy and shadow/highlight detail we use the Kodak professional Ektachrome duplicating film (EDUP).
